The information presented explains what is the spent nuclear fuel from atomic power stations, what it contains, its specifics. The book outlines distinctions of spent nuclear fuel from irradiated uranium from military-purpose reactors.

We explain who and for what purposes wants processing (regeneration) of spent nuclear fuel, give arguments (their lack, to be more precise) of atomic experts "for" processing and "counter" arguments against this processing.

Very concisely we dwell upon specifics and problems of atomic energy on the whole.

We express our opinion on what has to be done first not to increase, but decrease the number of problems associated with existence of both military-purpose nuclear production and peaceful atomic energy.
