Does anyone else wonder why it`s okay for the U.S. to have weapons of mass destruction, but it`s not okay for anyone else?!

Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, I address you in writing with a request to personally influence the course of military events in Iraq to prevent resounding defeat of this small state. Many innocent people die there!!! Thank you very much for your attention!

I alerted the US Department of Defense about $20M stolen from Defense Enterprise Fund (DEF), a program to convert the former Russian producers of weapons of mass destruction (anthrax, nuclear, etc). A DOD Audit proved the theft, but the guilty American managers were not even reprimanded. When Vector Plant of Novossibirsk, the Soviet Army`s prime facility for producing militarized anthrax and smallpox spores, asked for just $1M to convert itself -- DEF did not have the money: this money was spent to finance the COO`s private apartment in Moscow. Now, that "proves" that Bush indeed goes to war "against the threat of anthrax". For the full story, please go here: http://www.nunn-lugar.com and then click on "DEF"

Excuse me, could you help and explain. Does Lithuania shut down Ignalinskaya nuclear power plant or increases the number of nuclear blocks? The information available is somewhat controversial.

The Site of the Citizens Center for Nuclear Nonproliferation can be highly estimated by most diverse criteria/ On the whole it is good because it is information-intensive and is updated daily. Its ponderability is formed by numerous inputs: it concentrates publications from Russian and foreign press on the problems of disarmament, nuclear and radiation safety and other important subjects; it features a rich archive of publications, Exclusive section publishes their own materials, the site has Forum, our Guests sections etc. To find material needed on the subject of interest helps site search program and had ample opportunities to corroborate it. To my mind, section Documents that can place regular reviews of new Russian laws and legal acts (and the documents themselves will be even better) on nuclear and radiation safety and adjacent areas can further increase the efficiency of the site. This will make possible not only enhance awareness of the public, NGOs and mass media in the field of law, but will help strengthen remedial basis this, beyond any doubt will benefit the safety of the society.
Wishes of new success! Chairman of the Council of Center for promotion of civil initiatives (Dimitrovgrad)

I alerted the US Department of Defense about $20M stolen from a program to convert the former Russian producers of weapons of mass destruction (anthrax, nuclear, etc). A DOD Audit proved the theft, but the guilty American managers were not even reprimanded. That shows how "concerned" Bush is about weapons of mass destruction. For the full story, please go here: http://www.nunn-lugar.com I would appreciate if you could list this site as a link and would welcome your help in making this site more complete and informative. For now, the site only has information about one Program financed with Nunn-Lugar money, and I hope to expand it. Thanks. Matthew Maly http://nunn-lugar.com
